mission

WE BELIEVE EVERYTHING GOOD STARTS WITH A MEAL.

The Mission of Give Hope is to Help OTHER PEOPLE EVERY DAY by BRINGING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SERVE THOSE IN NEED.

The Cost of Giving

Sarah and I wanted to share some updates about our non-profit, Give Hope. Give Hope came into being when we launched purpose-driven restaurants back in 2020. Our aim was simple: to serve our community in any way possible. Throughout the years, our efforts have ranged from supporting children with cancer, funding funerals for young victims of random gun violence, addressing social injustices, aiding hospitality workers in need, providing earthquake relief in Turkey and responding to wildfires in Maui, to tackling food insecurities prevalent in our city.

As we delved deeper into the intricacies of giving as a 501(c)(3) organization, we realized that it didn't always align with our ethos. Our vision is to offer direct assistance to families in crisis, addressing their needs first hand rather than channeling funds through intermediary non-profits. We've always been committed to responding to immediate needs, bypassing the bureaucracy and overhead costs sometimes associated with larger 501(c)(3) organizations. Whenever tragedy strikes and we feel compelled to assist, we pledge to contribute 100% of our sales directly. Every single day, we reinvest our earnings back into our communities to foster positive change. For us, giving isn't about tax write-offs; it's a calling.

All the expenses incurred by Give Hope will be covered by our corporation as a C corp, allowing us to continue our giving in the manner we know best: directly and promptly, as frequently as possible. Give Hope will persist as a non-profit primarily funded by us, existing solely to make a difference without seeking profit or maintaining a payroll, ensuring that every dollar we invest goes toward aiding those in need.

Choosing to give isn't about seeking tax benefits—it's about answering a higher calling.
